To those not wise in the ways of the blogosphere (like me) a word of explanation.  “StumbleUpon” is a place you go to vote on blog posts that you like.  (You give a thumbs up – you can also give a thumbs down for those you don’t like – but hardly anyone bothers to do this.)

I am with things blog tech decidedly uninformed and unskilful.  The latest example having to do with StumbleUpon.  I just discovered that lots of people wanted to connect with me on StumbleUpon – I noticed an icon I hadn’t noticed before.  My apologies to those who think I have been ignoring you – I haven’t, I just didn’t realise how StumbleUpon worked.  To those of you who are still reading my blog, thankyou and I hope you understand.

  1. Yeah, I didn’t know that either for the longest time — I’m guessing you didn’t know you have to click on your inbox to see your friend requests, even though the inbox is empty and there’s no indication that people want to “friend” you on the SU front page. That’s what happened to me anyway.

Me too. an empty inbox that sort of has stuff in it!. Their site is far from intuitive, as they say. (Which may mean that I’m just not up on this kind of thing.)
