Hi Folks,
Today I have a guest post on Psychology, Philosophy and Real Life. It is mostly a book announcement for How to Cure Boredom. However there is some useful stuff on what we can learn from our experience of boredom as well – it’s not just a book announcement. It’s called Getting Interested in Boredom. Hope you find it useful,
Your hopefully-non-boring Blogger,
Evan
Would you like to feel less stressed?
Could you do with more joy in your life?
The answer is living authentically. Buy the book or sign up for the course now from my Living Authentically website.

Oh Evan….
Danger, danger, danger! For both of us! My evil side was quickly activated by the opening you provided at the end of your post. Of course I think even you know I don’t think what you write is boring, far from it, in fact I’m more likely in the fan category. However what seemed to me to be your invitation to make some smart mouthed comment was right at the tip of my tongue. I guess I need to work on that particular filter, almost couldn’t resist, just for the heck of it:-)
Yes, it’s ok to hate my evil side, I don’t, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t, especially today!
Now, I’ll go read the post…
Barbara
Thanks for your restraint – though a part of me does wonder what you would have said. Good to hear from you, Evan
If I can reconstruct, I’ll email you. I’ve done enough of this not stopping to think and publically saying the ‘wrong’ thing for my lifetime and yours. As a result, I think I successfully let these particular words go, or maybe would like to believe I have! Either way, my perception is they’re gone, making me at least feel better…sometimes illusion still is my better option.
Thanks!
