For five breaths just notice that you are breathing. (You can notice the rise and fall of your chest, the filling and emptying of your belly, the feeling of air going in and out your nostrils.)
Take three breaths while you allow one of your values to come to awareness.
[Alternative remembering a spiritual model, hero or mentor. Connecting with your sense of the sacred/god.]
For the next three breaths allow this value to spread throughout your body.
Imagine for the next three breaths how it is to act with this value pervading you.
Notice how you are now feeling while you take your next three breaths.
Then come back to your awareness of your current situations for five final breaths.
